Big Swirl Island (or Big Swirl) is the primary setting of the Nickelodeon TV Series Top Wing. Big Swirl Island is home to an abundance of animals, as well as being the location of Top Wing Academy, where members of Team Top Wing can learn to earn their wings, by helping the residents, and solving problems.
Geography
Big Swirl Island is a large island, with several steep, rounded hills in it's center. Although it looks to be mostly beach-land and jungle from a bird's eye view, the island houses a wide variety of biomes, from Jungles, to Rock Canyons, and even snow topped mountains. Its vast and widened variety of habitats is likely the reason it serves as a base for Top Wing Academy.
Notable Locations
The following are locations of importance or of note that are located on Big Swirl Island:
- Top Wing Headquarters - The training place and living quarters of all Top Wing Cadets.
- Lemon Shack - A large juice bar, by the beach.
- Ker-Splash Canyon - A large temple, filled with caves and caverns. It features a large, man made waterfall, and many streams and pipes. It currently functions as a waterpark, and the home of the entire Dodo species.
Trivia
- Big Swirl Island is not the only location which hosts a Top Wing Headquarters, as Inspector Eagle-Eye implies that there are multiple.
